Living a life in balance.

It seems that we are always moving forward. Sometimes the moves are rapid and chaotic while other times the movements grind nearly to a halt. The movement is always there though. Each little decision that we make throughout the day adds up to big changes over time. Through it all has been the struggle to maintain balance and keep that movement in the direction of our dreams. That is not to say that we have avoided being sidetracked. It is inevitable that life will alter your existence and make you lose focus from time to time. The key is to always self assess your situation. Learn from where you are and where you were. Set your shoulders, put your face into the wind and adjust your direction.

The Yeoman Wolff Pack Farm is our dream. It is the destination we have been working toward for many years now. It's the story of our past, present and future all wrapped up in a small stretch of land that we don't even own yet. It has been interesting for us this past week to be so close, yet still so far.

We have finally found the place that we want to settle down in. A small town in Ohio that we can call our own. The Lineman has a good, stable job. No more gypsy life for us. I am working at a small homestead, learning the skills I will need when we finally find that perfect bit of land.

The next steps for us are clear and we are actively pursuing them. Yet still, we have to focus on our balance and direction. We have to work harder than ever now to make our dreams a reality and that leaves no room for being sidetracked by life.
